my old site…
An archived version can be seen here
i created it using an experimental meta-language that i was messing with called RMXml. it was worked out great for a couple of years, it succeeded in helping me create and publish new content very quickly, without the need of unnecessary html tags. many times html tags, css style definitions, and javascript code would be take up more space than actual content. Not that any search engines ever cared about these tags, they just ignore it. Another goal of RMXml was for search engine visibility. My theory was that the content took up >90% of the source, so downloading the pages would be quick for anyone, and spidering it might be easy. well, it didn’t improve on any normal search engine indexing that i know of, but it didn’t hurt it either.
The reason why i stopped trying to develop RMXml, is because i’m not a ‘coding ninja monkey linguist’ it was fun at the time, and at it’s current state, does not play very well with safari or ie on mac.
and one site exists that still uses RMXml…
